Penne with Tomato and Basil

  • 250g Penne by Di Augusto
  • 140g tomato sauce
  • 10g Fresh basil leaves
  • 5g minced fresh herbs: basil, sage, rosemary, thyme
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 unpeeled glove of garlic
  • 2 spoons extra virgin olive oil by Di Augusto
  • Salt


Heat 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil by Di Augusto in a wide saucepan on a medium heat, add the garlic, the minced herbs and cook until golden.

Add the tomato sauce and cook over low heat for 7/8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salty water for the minutes indicated on the box.

Drain it and toss it in the saucepan, cook for 1 minute and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Finely grate over some Parmesan cheese, then serve.
